HIFU in treating perforators in patients with Lypodermatosclerosis

Is it possible to use High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) to treat incompetent perforators in an area with severe lypodermatosclerosis? Are there any advantages over EVLA/TRLOP in this situation?
